What We Believe

TRIUNE GOD

We believe in one God who is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is present and active in the world and in the lives of those who believe. We believe he teaches, convicts, transforms us, and guides us into truth.

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus is God’s only Son, fully God and fully man, was born of the virgin Mary, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and is alive today and will return one day.

THE BIBLE​

We believe in the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which was spoken to people throughout history who wrote it down in their own context and language. We believe the Bible contains all truth necessary to lead us into a relationship with Jesus and help us grow in that relationship.​

SIN

We believe sin came into the world when humanity chose to put themselves before God. Without Jesus’ forgiveness and our obedience to live obediently to the Spirit, people will always live selfishly bringing destructive results on themselves and those around them. Without God’s forgiveness, we believe people will spend eternity apart from God.

ATONEMENT

Atonement is a biblical word that means being made right with God. We believe that because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, all of humanity can be made right with God.

SANTIFICATION

We believe that God can work in a person’s life so that they can actually be transformed and changed to be entirely devoted to God with a pure heart and mature character.

RESURRECTION

We believe that Jesus will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
